Psychology New Student Welcome and Orientation

Welcome to The Ohio State University and the Department of Psychology! We are looking forward to your arrival on campus and are excited that you have decided to major in Psychology. We hope you will take advantage of the many wonderful opportunities available to you within the Psychology Department, many of which you will hear about at our annual New Student Welcome and Orientation.

I hope you will join us on Tuesday, September 23th, 2008, from 2-5pm in Psychology building room 002 for our 2008 New Student Welcome and Orientation. You will learn about the Psychology Department, meet your Department Chair and your Advising Staff, find out about our psychology student organizations and how to become involved, and hear about the traditions you are becoming a part of at Ohio State University and the Psychology Department from one of our Emeritus Faculty (this talk always receives rave reviews!). As part of the afternoon, we will also be providing a Psychology Major BA/BS orientation (required of all new majors during their first quarter).

As a first-year student, you are also eligible to participate in our Psychology Peer Mentoring Program and our Psychology Enrichment Program. For more information, check the links above.
