Student Organizations in Psychology
Students interested in psychology are encouraged to join our student organizations. They are a great way to meet other students in Psychology, and they offer service and leadership opportunities.
The Minority Psychology Student Association (MPSA) is an undergraduate organization for students interested in psychology and diversity. The group's goals and purposes are to unite students in psychology through socially and culturally enriching activities; and to provide support and information about the psychology department, career choices, and requirements for graduate studies. All students who are interested in psychology are welcome to attend meetings.
Psi Chi is a national honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.
The Psychology Club is open to all students with an interest in psychology. The intention for this group is to be a forum for intellectual exchange, provide opportunities for social interaction with peers, and be a source of information regarding psychology. The Psychology Club has held educational programs, social events, and service opportunities.
