Career Exploration in Psychology

Prerequisites: Psychology 100 plus 9 hours in Psychology; sophomore standing; at least 2.5 GPA

Course Description and Objectives:
This course will provide students with an environment to explore career paths that interest them, as well as assist them in developing career search skills and strategies. Students will complete three shadowing experiences in organizations of their choosing and complete reflection papers on their experience. Other topics include informational and job interviewing, networking, resumes, cover letters, personal statements, and thinking about graduate school.
